Trainee Field Service Engineer

We currently seeking a Trainee level ‘Domestic Gas Engineer’ to join a growing ‘Property Maintenance and Building Services’ Company based in Thanet, Kent who are in the process of expanding their hardworking Team.

This is a field-based, customer facing role, attending residential properties to carry out installations, repairs and servicing.

Suitable Candidates must have some proven experience of working as a Heating Maintenance Engineer/Domestic Gas Engineer/Plumber  or in a similar role within a domestic setting. They must be willing to travel within a Team to various locations Kent to carry out works within Domestic settings.

The Ideal Candidate will have a can-do attitude, be motivated to learn and undertake further training to expand their skills and experience on the job. They must demonstrate Good Customer Service, time management and organisational skills.

They must be able to work within a small, busy team and in a timely manner. They will be playing an important part in delivering good quality workmanship and uphold the Company’s reputation for excellence.

Qualifications

The ideal Candidate will have achieved at least one of the OFTEC qualifications such as  101, 102 or 105e. Or they must be a Gas Safe Registered Operative with either CCN1 or HTR1.

To aplly for this role you must have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years.

The Successful Candidate will receive a competitive salary, Full Training, use of a company vehicle, full PPE and uniform provided. Salary is negotiable, depending on experience.
